一、学院简介
上海财经大学统计与数据科学学院成立于2009年，源于1946年设立的统计学系，是上海财经大学最早设立的系科之一。统计与数据科学学院现有统计学一级学科，下设数理统计与计算理论、数据科学与统计应用、金融统计与风险管理、经济统计与经济计量四个学科方向，先后获批全国统计学一级学科首批博士学位授予点、首批应用统计专业学位授予点、首批统计学一级学科博士后流动站，并入选上海市重点学科、上海高校一流学科（A类），在全国学科评估和专业学位评估中名列前茅。学院拥有统计学、经济统计学、数据科学3个本科专业，其中，2020年统计学入选国家一流本科专业建设点；2022年经济统计学入选国家一流本科专业建设点，数据科学与大数据技术（现更名为数据科学）入选省级一流本科专业建设点。学院致力于汇聚一流的师资，培育具有全球化视野和创新精神的一流人才。

三、应聘条件
1.具有统计学、数据科学、计量经济学/数量经济学、优化、概率、计算机科学、应用数学等相关学科海内外知名大学博士学位（或即将于2026年8月前获得博士学位）。
2.在国际主流刊物发表研究论文；具有良好的英文阅读、交流及写作能力。
3.愿意从事统计学、概率论、计算机科学、计量经济学/数量经济学等相关学科的教学工作。
4.遵纪守法，品行端正，无违法违纪行为或其他不良记录。具有良好的团队合作精神，善于沟通，身心健康。

1.独立或合作从事高水平科学研究
2.为学院各层次学生授课、指导学位论文等教学工作

The School of Statistics and Data Science
At Shanghai University of Finance and Economics
Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (SUFE)is a premier research university in China with recognized strengths in Statistics, Finance & Economics, and Management Sciences. The School of Statistics and Data Science at SUFE is dedicated to advancing research across a broad spectrum of fields, including Statistics, Data Science, Machine Learning, Large Language Models, Econometrics, Optimization, and Probability. The School comprises 58 faculty members, including 29 tenure-track and 5 research-track positions. We invite applications from candidates whose work aligns with and enhances our existing focus areas.
Open Positions
The School of Statistics and Data Science at SUFE invites applications for multiple open rank positions (tenure-track or research-track) in Statistics, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Economics, Operations Research, and Risk Management. Joint appointments are available with the Institute of Big Data Research at SUFE.
Duties and Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be expected to:
Conduct high-quality research, both independently and collaboratively.
Deliver excellent teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
Participate in statistical consulting activities.
Contribute to the academic development and growth of the School.
Qualifications and Requirements
Ph.D.in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, Management Science, Mathematics, or related fields by August 2026.
Demonstrated research capability or strong potential for high-quality scholarly output.
Experience or interest in teaching courses in Statistics, Data Science, Computation,Economics, Management Science, Probability, and related areas at all levels.
Proficiency in spoken and written English.
Salary and Benefits
We offer an internationally competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience. Additional benefits may include relocation and housing allowances, as well as startup research funding, depending on the appointment rank and background.
